How We Verify Broadcast Information
A wrong channel on game day is the worst mistake a site like ours can make. These are the steps behind every listing on NBC,NFL Live.
Our sources, in order
- Official league schedules and broadcast announcements.
- Announcements from the broadcaster or streaming service itself.
- Established sports media outlets, used to confirm the first two, never on their own.
When we check
- Season guides are checked when rights deals or schedules change, and the date of the last check is shown on the page.
- Game pages are re-checked before game day, because games can be moved to another channel (flexed) late.
- Prices and free trials are checked against the service's own website, since they change often.
Times and time zones
Start times are stored in a single reference time zone and shown in your own time zone when your browser shares it. Listed times are scheduled start times; broadcasts often begin earlier with pre-game coverage.
